It is my pleasure to inform you that the Government of Myanmar is organizing township selection consultation meetings in Mandalay Region, Bago Region, Mon State, Kayah State, Kachin State and Kayin State to assist in identifying the townships that will benefit from the National Community Driven Development Project (Ludu Bahopyu Project). We are inviting Non-Governmental Organizations, Civil Society Groups, Community Based Organizations and Development Partners with active programs in the respective Region/State to attend the meetings.
The Township selection meeting for Kachin State will be held in Myitkyinna Township on 14th May 2015. You find attached a short note on the township selection process, the agenda for the Kachin meeting and the project information document. Please note that meeting will be held in Myanmar language without translation.
Non-Governmental Organizations, Civil Society Groups, Community Based Organizations and Development Partners with an active program in Kachin State and interested in participating in the Myitkyinna meeting should please contact us at cdd.drdmyanmar@gmail.com by 12th May. The data table for the Myitkyinna meeting as well as further information about it will be provided separately.
