A meeting, led by Township Officer U Yan Kyaw for Department of Rural Development of Mong Khet township, NCDDP’s Township Project Officer U Hein Min Soe, Township Technical Team Leader U Myo Thant, was held at Mong Khet township in Shan State on 4 January 2020 in collaboration with Community Technical Facilitators to discuss project activity plans to submit Township Project Implementation Committee (TPIC) for the second project year. After the meeting, field trips were carried out to discuss with community members, to see ground situations in the villages, to evaluate the scales of the project activities and how they could impact on the community, and to see if the project plans are overlapping with the activity plans of respective government departments. Altogether 94 project activities for 93 villages will be submitted to discuss at the upcoming meeting of the NCDDP’s TPIC for Mong Khet township in Shan State.
