How does M&E operate in National Community Driven Development Project?

In order to implement the sub-projects with good quality and timeliness in their village, the village M&E sub-committee will do the monitoring and if they are unable to resolve the situation, they will report to the village tract committee.

Township-level M & E officer will collect the project progress and report to the State/Region CDD office on a quarterly basis. He/she also has the responsibility to submit township weekly progress through MIS and do the monitoring field visits on village sub-projects.



State/Region will do the monitoring field visits to their respective townships, collect the quarterly reports and give necessary guidance. At the end of the quarter, they will aggregate their township reports into a single region report and send to the Union.



Union level M&E team have responsibilities to…

-    do the monitoring on township sub-projects

-    provide supervision and troubleshooting

-    co-operate with State/Region CDD office

-    review the quarterly report and submit the issues to the respective departments

-    submit quarterly and annual reports to the government of the Myanmar and the World Bank

-    submit reports to the DRD website (cdd.drdmyanmar.org) for the public
