The Department of Rural Development (DRD) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation organized the township Multi-Stakeholders Review Meeting for second project cycle of the National Community Driven Development Project (NCDDP) at Rvwang National Park in Putao, Kachin State on February 7, 2020.

The participants at the meeting included State Hluttaw Representative U Yaw Si, Director U Zaw Zaw Naung for the Department of Rural Development of Kachin State), Deputy Director U Kyaw Lin Aung Aung, District Head U Zaw Lin Aung, Putao township General Administrator U Thant Sin, DRD Township Head Officer U Htay Myint, and officials from the concerned government departments, representatives from civil society organizations, respective village administrators and village committee members.

The committee members discussed about the project activities undertaken during the NCDDP second year project cycle in the township and suggestions for the next project cycle activities. After that, prizes were awarded to Hpat Mar Di village as the first prize for the best activities, Ma Kyawt War Village as the second and Pension Village as the third. In addition, the first prize was awarded to Lan Taung village tract, the second prize to Lon Shar Yung village tract and the third to Zi Aun village tract respectively.
